A method of surgical correction of astigmatism by axial laser keratomylese, comprising in carrying out laser particularized keratomylese under local anaesthesia, applying a vacuum ring on cornea and cutting out a cornea surface flap by microkeratoma, subsequent laser keratoablation of stromal bed and the flap repositioning, characterized in that the cornea surface flap is cut out in accordance with the direction of astigmatism axes of the eye to be operated.
