<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To variously control musical tone signals according to the mode of percussion to a pad body of an electronic percussion instrument which generates musical tone signals according to the detection of the percussion to the pad body. <P>SOLUTION: A sensing unit 3 comprises a disk-shaped sensor fixing body 31 having elasticity, a disk-shaped radial pressurizing section 32 having elasticity, and a piezoelectric sensor 33. The piezoelectric sensor 33 is attached to the central part of the body 31. A pad skin body 3 is fixed onto the section 32. A moving contact 41 is formed at the bottom end of an elastic projection 25. The blow of certain intensity causes the moving contact 41 to come into contact with a stationary contact 42 to turn a switch on, thereby controlling timbre, sound volume and localization position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
