<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cancellation device for a turn signal switch, capable of releasing an overload on a ratchet member, suppressing moment added on a releasing means during normal operation, and decreasing the size of the whole device. <P>SOLUTION: The cancellation device for the turn signal switch comprises the ratchet member 4 moving to a position where the ratchet member 4 can abuts on a cancellation member 11 with rocking of an operating lever 3, and rockably arranged; and a cancellation guide 5 formed in a base end side of the operating lever 3, allowing the rachet member 4 to rock in regard to rotations in one direction of the cancellation member 11, and returning the operating lever 3 to a neutral position while regulating rocking of the ratchet member 4 in regard to rotations in the other direction to separate the ratchet member 4 from the cancellation member 11.
