PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and image processing method capable of realizing a field depth processing at low operation cost while keeping the quality of a resulting image. SOLUTION: A pixel drawing processing pre-step device 4 performs rasteriation processing based on apex information of a polygon. Thereafter, a relative position arithmetic unit 5 determines, on the basis of the determined depth information of pixels, the difference (ΔZ value) of the depth information of pixels with a focal position. A position diffusion processor 6 changes, on the basis of theΔZ-value, pixel position information within a range corresponding to the magnitude of theΔZ value.
