PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a broad-band speech reproduction device for reproducing high quality broad-band speech signal by estimating a stable broad-band sound source from narrow-band speech or narrow-band speech codes at a more correct amplitude without being affected by differences in speakers and noise so much. SOLUTION: The broad-band sound source reconstruction device comprises; a narrow-band sound source decoding means for generating narrow-band composite tone by using narrow-band speech codes, a spectrum decoding means for estimating a broad-band spectrum parameter by using a narrow-band spectrum code separated from the narrow-band speech codes; abroad-band sound source decoding means for estimating a broad-band sound source signal by using a narrow-band sound source code separated from the narrow-band speech codes; and a composite means for generating abroad-band speech signal from these generated narrow-band composite tone, and the estimated broad-band spectrum parameter and broad-band sound source signal.
