PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small armature in which contacting between shorting members is prevented. SOLUTION: The armature 13 arranged rotatably by a rotating shaft 19 relative to a stator 12 comprises an armature core 21 where a coil is wound on teeth, and a commutator 23 that comprises a segment 26b. A resin mold 20 where shorting members 31a-31h that short the segment 26b of the same potential are laminated and embedded, is housed in a range X in axial direction by press-fitting to a center hole 24 of the armature core 21.
