PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the high-frequency characteristics of a speaker mounted on audio equipment, specially, a thin type speaker without spoiling a feature of a thin type. SOLUTION: The speaker is constituted by fixing the inner periphery of a diaphragm 8 to the outer periphery of a coupling 11 connecting the inner and outer peripheries of a yoke 2 of a magnetic circuit A and also fixing a subcone 17 below the outer periphery of the coupling 11; and the subcone 17 improves high-frequency characteristics and is fixed below the outer periphery of the coupling 11, so the overall height of the speaker is reduced to eliminate restrictions on the mounting place of the speaker.
