PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform track jump normally even if a DC offset is added to a tracking control signal. SOLUTION: A tracking control signal TC from a tracking control circuit 6 is supplied to an adder circuit 14 and to a eccentric component detecting circuit 10 through a switch 12 during the normal operation. An eccentric component EC of AC caused by the eccentricity of an optical disk is detected from the tracking control signal TC in the eccentric component detecting circuit 10 and it is supplied to the adding circuit 14 through the switch 13. When a track jump is performed in the optical disk 1, the switch 12 is turned off and is cut off, the eccentric component EC from the switch 13 and a jump pulse signal JP from a jump signal generating circuit 11 are added in the adding circuit 14, but DC offset A of the tracking control signal TC detected by a DC component detecting circuit 22 is also added.
