PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive capable of suppressing a temperature increase in the inside. SOLUTION: This disk drive 1 is provided with a disk driving mechanism 8 for driving a disk 7, a casing 2, a disk housing chamber 17 formed to house the disk driving mechanism 18 together with the casing 2, and a partition wall 16 disposed below the disk housing chamber 17. An opening 18 is formed on the upper surface of the casing 2 to suck external air into the disk housing chamber 17.
