PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive optical collimator device constituted so that an optical semiconductor device, a ferrule and other optical components can be joined with high accuracy in aligning, a method for manufacturing the optical collimator device, and an optical collimator module wherein the optical semiconductor device, and other optical components including the ferrule with an optical fiber attached are joined to the optical collimator device in the aligned state. SOLUTION: As for the optical collimator device 10, the outside shape of an inner cylindrical part 12 wherein optical transmission paths 14 and 15 are formed is covered with an outer cylindrical part 11 formed of hard material, and also, a collimator lens 13 whose outer edge is buried in the inner cylindrical part 12 is arranged in the optical transmission paths 14 and 15, and the outer cylindrical part 11 and the inner cylindrical part 12 with the collimator lens 13 inserted are integrally molded of resin.
