PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a subject surely identificable in a test by using DNA microarrays. SOLUTION: A DNA microarray reading device 5 reads a hybridization pattern from a DNA microarrays 11 including a first DNA probe group (area B) which can be utilized for identifying the subject and obtains identification information (DNA information) of the subject by analyzing a pattern corresponding to the first DNA probe group from the hybridization pattern which has been read. A medical treatment information card 12 which the subject has is read by an optical card reader/writer 8 and the identification information of the subject is obtained. Correspondence of the subject and the medical treatment information card is confirmed by comparing the two pieces of identification information obtained as above. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
