PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper receptacle of a paper handling machine capable of suppressing an installation space to the requisite minimum and facilitating jam handling work. SOLUTION: In this paper handling machine 10, a paper handling machine main body 12 and the paper receiving device 16 are arranged along the direction 90 of paper delivery. When a top plate 30 supported turnably on a rear side is lifted from a front side, it is opened without coming into contact with paper 18 loaded on a paper receptacle base 100.
