<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate allocation definition work of connection definition of a reading device and logical appellation in article management in an article management system using a non-contact electronic tag. <P>SOLUTION: A window 1, an icon 2a representing a body of a computer, an icon 2b representing a monitor of the computer, icons 4a, 4b representing a non-contact electronic tag reading device, and a drawn picture 5 on a storage base are displayed on a screen. The icons 4a, 4b have a pull-down menu 6 and are provided with editing function related to connection definition allocated to the reading device or its detailed set contents and logical appellation. By performing allocation definition editing work of connection definition of the reading device and logical appellation in article management on arrangement drawing expressing the article management system, allocation definition of connection definition and logical appellation of each equipment can be edited while confirming arrangement of equipment on drawing screen to enable very efficient editing work. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
