<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS system applicable to a sales form such that a storefront amount constantly varies by both a sales amount and an arrival amount, suppressing generation of an unsold commodity. <P>SOLUTION: This POS system comprises: a target sales amount file (21) recorded with a commodity target sales amount; a commodity sales amount file (22) recording a commodity sales amount; a commodity attribute file (23) recording a commodity attribute value such as a commodity name or a commodity list price; a discount rate decision part (12) deciding a commodity discount rate; a selling price display device (2) disposed on the periphery of a displayed commodity; a POS register (3); and a selling price control part (13) sending a commodity selling price calculated from the commodity fixed price and the discount rate to the selling price display device and the POS register.
