ARTICLE INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD USING PERSONAL DIGITAL ASSISTANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article information providing method using a personal digital assistant for allowing a purchaser to acquire information about a sales price of an article at the time of decision of the article for performing a quick order/purchase procedure and allowing a seller away home to notify the sales price at own shop to the purchaser.

SOLUTION: The personal digital assistant 3 having a barcode reading function reads a barcode 2 representing an item number of the article shown on the article 1 (or wrapping for the article) and transmits the acquired item number data to a server 4. The server collates the obtained item number data to a price information search engine 5 collecting an article sales price for each seller, and the price information of the article matching the obtained item number data is transmitted to the personal digital assistant.
