The pass allows fish to ascend in flowing water courses in areas of build-up stages, water power installations and similar and comprises successively arranged basins in the flow direction connected to each other by vertical slots and having an inclination via which together with the width of the slots the flow speed in the slot area is determined. This allows wild fish in inland water courses, such as salmon, trout and eels, to have access to their spawning areas. In the basins, rest zones are provided for fish with a low swimming speed. A virtually natural bed substrate is incorporated, which enables an improved through passage to be achieved by small weaker fish types. The fish pass comprises interconnected metal segments formed by a pre-build-up basin (1), a main channel (2) and an outflow basin (3).
|
