An automated assembly bakes yeast dough rolls. The assembly has two independently operated lid closures (3) over a baking chamber with heating rods (2). The rods are positioned between and under the lines of conical rolls (1) and generate sufficient heat when the glass lids are shut. The two lids each have a surrounding frame with a handle. The lids are linked to the box frame by a chain stay (13).
