<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a metallic luster-toned writing utensil member, to which a metallic luster color having large reflectance and high luminosity such as an aluminum plate can be given without giving the impression of existence of particles on the surface of the molded product of the writing utensil member with small product sizes and uneven or curved faces; and a metallic luster-toned writing utensil member employing with the resin composition. <P>SOLUTION: This resin composition for the metallic luster-toned writing utensil member is constituted by compounding 80-99.5 wt.% of a thermoplastic resin, 0.01-10 wt.% of an aluminum powder having an average particle diameter of 1-25 μm and 0.1-10 wt.% of a pearl pigment having a particle diameter of 5-60 μm under the compounding ratio in weight of the aluminum powder to the pearl pigment is 1:1-1:100.
