<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encode check device preventing a collation error between contents of encode direction information and contents of encode information recorded in a ticket, and capable of rapidly checking whether the encode information is right or not. <P>SOLUTION: In this encode check device 1, the encode direction information previously stored in a personal computer 20 and the encode information read from the ticket in a reader 10 are automatically collated, and a discordance portion of both pieces of information is highlighted on a list-display screen.
