PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for storing a digitally signed document (160) in a digital data storage system (10). SOLUTION: A secure storage request (176) connects a document (160) to a storage signature (174) created by using an identification mark (172) and a related digital signature of the document. When the document (160) is once authenticated by a digital storage system vendor, both the document (160) and the identification mark (172) are recorded in a storage medium in a human-readable form.
