<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottom lock type setup box that can be set up in one-step operation, can be opened from the box top to sides, facilitates insertion/extraction of even an item that may easily be damaged in shape, and enhances the outer appearance and shape stability of the box. <P>SOLUTION: The setup paper box comprises one paper plate A'. One of four sides is a side plate 1 that can be opened. In an unfolded state, the side plate 1 is disposed at right angle to the three side plates 2 to 4 disposed linearly in series. Bottom lid flaps 5 to 8 for forming a bottom lid extend from the lower edges of the corresponding side plates 1 to 4. The side plate 2, which is one end of the series, and the side plate 1 connect to each other via the respective bottom lid flaps 5 and 6 connecting to the side plates 2 and 1, respectively, via a crease f sloping at an angle of 45. An extension flap 14 connects to the side edge of the side plate 4, which is the other end of the series.
