SHEET FEEDING DEVICE, IMAGE READING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily release a set condition by operating a document regulation plate even when a document is set on a document tray.

SOLUTION: This sheet feeding device is constituted in such a way that a control part determines whether the document regulation plate is operated or not (S31) based on detection output of a document size detector detecting a position of the document regulation plate when a start signal is not inputted (S21:NO) when the document is loaded on the document tray to achieve a stand-by condition in which the document can be fed and the document tray is lowered by predetermined amount and is stopped when the document regulation plate is operated (S31:YES). Descent amount of the document tray can be arbitrarily set from an operation panel by a user.
