摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a malfunction by simple constitution and to improve a decision function. <P>SOLUTION: Transistors 41a and 41b on a high side to energize squibs 21a and 21b are not turned ON till trigger GSW22 is turned ON and power supply voltage VS of DC power supply 30 is boosted. A CPU 25 turns ON control signals S1, S2 and S3 when acceleration G of impact exceeds a set value in response to a detection result of the acceleration G of the impact from a G sensor 23. If the trigger GSW22 is turned OFF even when the control signal S1 is turned ON by the malfunction, gate voltage Vt to turn ON the transistors 41a and 41b is not imparted and the squibs 21a and 21b are kept in non-energizing states. When the acceleration G of the impact is large, the control signals S1 and S3 are simultaneously turned ON to rapidly develop an air bag. When the acceleration G of the impact is comparatively small, a time difference is provided to turn ON the control signals S2 and S3 to delay developing of the air bag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p>
