<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress ingress of refuse in pipes into each appliance and instrument by devising a piping structure. <P>SOLUTION: A pipe 1 arranged to a horizontal header pipe 2 from a tank or the like of any one of liquid, steam and gas, or mixed fluid consisting of one or a plurality of liquid, steam and gas, and various kinds of chemical appliances such as an adjustment tank and a reactor and pipes 3 to instruments or the like annexed thereto are connected upwardly from an upper face of the header pipe 2. The specific gravity of refuse such as rust in the fluid flowing in the header pipe 2 is generally larger than the specific gravity of the fluid, and the refuse flows through in a lower portion in the pipe 2. Therefore, no refuse is mixed in each appliance or instrument. Thus, the function of the appliances and instruments is not degraded, and no defective products are caused by mixing of refuse. A vertically downward purge pipe 5 is connected to a lower face of the header pipe 2 between a terminal portion of the header pipe 2 and the feed pipe 3 closest to an end portion, and refuse deposited in the header pipe 2 is taken out of the purge pipe 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
