PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE AND NEGATIVE PRESSURE CHAMBER FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure control valve for sealing a jointed portion of a power element in which a negative pressure chamber is formed out of a pressure sensitive member without giving an effect of heat to another component member.

SOLUTION: The negative pressure chamber of the power element 2 is formed by caulking and jointing a peripheral edge portion of an upper housing 12 to the peripheral edge portion of a lower housing 11 together with a diaphragm 13 in a negative-pressure atmosphere within a negative pressure container 23. The jointed portion is provided to be sealed by a lead-free solder 24 melted by inductive heat of a high frequency coil 22 arranged in the outer circumference. The pressure control valve has no influence of heat on any other member because of soldering by local heating, thus realizing cost reduction and high airtight reliability as well as being friendly to environment.
