PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely edit and output inputted image data and image data inputted manually placing an original on a platen surface. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus has an input means for inputting the image data, an storage means for storing the image data, an output means for outputting the image data stored in the storage means, and an editing means for editing the image data stored in the storage means. It has a first function of editing the image data stored in the storage means by the editing means and outputs the data to the output means, and a second function which outputs the data to the output means in synchronization with the image data inputted by the input means with input performance. Thereby, it can perform the outputting of the image data which sets an original useful to an automatic original feeding device and an original of thin paper or heavy paper inputted by manual operation from the platen surface because the original cannot be used by the automatic original feeding device to, and since a series of image data can be outputted in the order of pages, documents can be filed by a finisher, and the laborsaving of copy working is enabled.
