PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower frame structure for sliding doors which has excellent draining property for draining the rain water intruded into a lower frame of an inside sliding door which is provided with a suspending piece suspended from an outdoor side of the lower frame thereof prevents a flap of a drain valve due to the rain water, and is unified in design with a lower frame of an outside sliding door, in regard to the sliding doors formed so that the top surface of a sill is formed into a nearly flat shape. SOLUTION: The top surface of the sill for a sash formed of sliding doors provided in an outdoor opening part of a building is formed into a nearly flat shape, and the top surface of the sill is provided with a narrow linear slide groove, and the suspending piece suspended from an outdoor side of the lower frame of the inside sliding door is fitted in the slide groove. In the described lower frame structure of the inside sliding door, a slit-like recessed part is formed in the lateral direction in the outside side surface of the lower frame of the inside sliding door, and a drain hole is provided to communicate a bottom part of the glass installation groove of the lower frame of the inside sliding door with the inside the slit-like recessed part.
