PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable connecting tool capable of enhancing its mechanical strength even if a partition wall gets thin. SOLUTION: Two crimp piece receiving grooves 11 are formed side by side on a flat cable supporting surface 10a to support a flat cable. The partition wall 12 is provided between the two crimp piece receiving grooves 11. In this partition wall 12, the thickness of its tip part 12a is made thin, the thickness on its base side 12b is made thicker than the tip part 12a, and the boundary part of both of them is formed into a tapered part 12c.
