PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulator technology which appropriately meet processing capability corresponding to contents required by software. SOLUTION: An emulator 420 is installed in an entertainment apparatus not having a processing capability adjustment means like a personal computer operating system. The emulator 420 judges whether software to be executed in an entertainment apparatus requires to change processing capability provided in the apparatus at a judgement part 422. If it requires to change processing capability, the emulator 420 changes processing capability of the entertainment apparatus within a range specified by predetermined change parameters supplied for the software in advance or after.
