PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub for attaching a recording medium by which the eccentric quantity between the center of the track in the discrete track recording medium and the rotation shaft center in spite of simple constitution. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a fixed hub 11 formed so as to be attachable to a motor 3, an attachable and detachable hub 12 which is fitted to the fixed hub 11 freely attachably and detachably in a state in which its axis line is made almost coincident with the rotation shaft of the fixed hub 11, and a holding mechanism 13 constituted so that concentric quantity of the center of the track in the discrete track medium 7 for the axis line of the attachable and detachable hub 12 can be adjusted and the discrete track medium 7 can be fixed on a recording medium placing plane.
