DISK/ROLLER TYPE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION WITH IMPROVED HYDRAULIC PRESSURE FEED MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with a disk/roller type continuously variable transmission having two sets of disk/roller type continuously variable transmission mechanisms built therein parallel with each other, wherein a roller pressing force in the two sets of disk/roller type continuously variable transmission mechanisms is made nonuniform by the working hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic actuator pressing a roller between disks and the highly efficient uniform operation of the disk/roller type continuously variable transmission cannot be provided. SOLUTION: This transmission is formed such that the working hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic actuator does not apply an axial force to a connection shaft for distributing the roller pressing force between the two sets of disk/roller type continuously variable transmission mechanisms.
