PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically create a crane plan applicable to the erection of a structure frame. SOLUTION: Both a three-dimensional frame drawing D, in which the location, weight, shape of every member of the structure frame are recorded, and the database T, in which the hoisting capability, attitude, and minimum operating radius of a crane for erection and the dangerous radius of a crane base part which can be in contact are recorded, are stored in a computer 1. The movable range the crane is filled in the frame drawing D, and the frame drawing D is divided into erection sections Ei with execution order. For every erection section Ei, a range in the movable range of the crane at a distance not less than the minimum operating radius of the crane or the dangerous radius from the planar projection range of the erection section Ei and a preceding erection section Ej (J<i) is taken as an effective movable range. The workability of the crane is determined on all the members of an object erection section Ei within the effective movable range at the shortest distance from the center of the object erection section Ei. When a determination rejected member is detected, the workability is redetermined on the determination rejected member of the object erection section Ei at a location within the effective movable range at the shortest distance from the rejected member or on all the members and the crane working location is detected in every election section.
