PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact locking device for a game machine, which can be arranged even in an oddly shaped casing as well as in a straight part. SOLUTION: This locking device 7 for the game machine is provided with: a hook plate 13 which is turnably provided on a front panel, locked to the casing by an inclined plane 13c, and turned by sliding the inclined plane 13c along with the opening motion of the front panel, so as to release locking to the casing; a latch 15 which is provided on the front panel and locked to the hook plate 13 locked to the casing, so as to regulate the turning of the hook plate 13; a cylinder lock 11 which is provided on the front panel so as to release the regulation of the latch 15 by unlocking turning; and a push-in fitting 17 which is fixedly provided in the casing so as to turn the hook plate 13 in a casing locking direction by pushing the hook plate 13 along with the closing motion of the front panel 5.
