A flangeless, re-closeable seal is formed from continuous, profiled, elongated fastener strips. A first continuous elongated profile strip includes one or more hook-shaped protuberances at the extant of C-shaped closure elements. The hook-shaped protuberances engage complementary recesses formed in a second, continuous elongated profile strip that also includes one or more hook-shaped protuberances at the extant of C-shaped closure elements. The hook shaped protuberances of the second strip engage complementary recesses in the first strip. The hook-shaped protuberances and recesses are sized and shaped to releasably interlock and provide an airtight and/or watertight seal upon interconnection thereof. |
