A heating system has a condensing boiler that surrenders vapor to a Neutralization assembly (1). The assembly has a housing with a granulate chamber (3) which discharges to a condensate collection chamber (4). The assembly further has a chamber for a pump with an inlet and an outlet, and a regulator. The pump chamber (6) is a discrete modular unit (5) attached to the main housing (1). The Neutralization assembly operates on through flow gravity feed. The inlet pipe (7) is higher than the outlet pipe (8). The secondary module (5) is attached to the side of the main module (1).
