ELECTRODE PLATE FOR SECONDARY BATTERY, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND SECONDARY BATTERY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode plate for a secondary battery where a paste for an insulation sheet piece reduces a harmful effect on an electrode manufacturing apparatus and the battery specifications.

SOLUTION: An insulation sheet piece 13a is stuck to a short circuit anticipated position of an electrode sheet member 20, where active material layers 22a-22d and 22a'-22d' are formed at least on one surface of the electrode sheet member 20 across an area of a width larger than a specified width of an electrode and a specified length of the electrode. The electrode sheet member 20 and an insulation member are cut together to form the electrode body of a specified shape. A low temperature thermoplastic paste adheres to one surface of the insulation member. The insulation member is used to be thermally bonded to the electrode sheet member 20.
