<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a client device to acquire a print result based on PDL data converted by using the PDL analytic resources of a server device over a network only by transferring a file to be printed to an image processor. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving a file to be printed whose print image is not confirmable and the print request of the file to be printed from a client PC21-1, an MFP 22 retrieves a server PC 23 capable of processing the file to be printed from a network 24 by referring to the file to be printed, and makes the retrieved server PC 23 convert the file to be printed into analyzable PDL data, and the MFP 22 acquires the converted PDL data, and develops the PDL data into a print image, and prints the developed print image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
