<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a battery pack on a floor panel while securing a cooling passage in simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This battery pack installation structure is adopted for a vehicle 1000 on which a first battery pack 1900 and a second battery pack 2000 for which a temperature condition of using circumstances is severer than that for the first battery pack 1900 are installed. In this installation structure of the battery pack, the first battery pack 1900 is placed in an engine compartment, and the second battery pack 2000 is placed under a seat 1120 placed on the floor panel and on which an occupant other than a driver out of the occupants of the vehicle is seated such that four pieces of battery cells are laminated in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle 1000, and air is circulated outside from the central side to the outside in the vehicle widthwise direction by a sirocco fan as the cooling passage between the battery cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
