摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston compressor capable of being quickly started for a suction stroke by maintaining a sufficient volumetric efficiency and quickly ending the communication of an opening at the high pressure side of a residual gas by-pass passage with the opening of a conducting passage. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary valve 35 communicating the conducting passage 18 extending from each compression chamber with a suction pressure range in the suction stroke is used in a suction valve device. The opening 51 of the conducting passage 18 forms such a shape that an edge 52 has an inclined part 52b-1 extending in the peripheral direction and the axial direction of the rotary valve 35. A residual gas by-pass groove 41 communicating a conducting passage 18A into a compression chamber after the end of discharge with a conducting passage 18B into a compression chamber at a low pressure side is formed at the outside perimeter 35b of the rotary valve 35. Ranges 45a-1 and b-1 at a preceding side in the edge 45 of the groove 42 at the high pressure side of the groove 41 has the inclined part 45a-1 along the inclined part 52b-1 of the edge 52 of the opening 51 at the start of the communication with the opening 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p>
