METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLUOROPLASTIC TUBE, THIN FILM FLUOROPLASTIC TUBE AND FLUOROPLASTIC-COATED ROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film fluoroplastic tube capable of being freely expanded in its diameter and a fluoroplastic-coated roller of high quality forming no wrinkles in its fluoroplastic layer and made uniform in the thickness of the fluoroplastic layer. SOLUTION: A long fluoroplastic tube continuously extending in its axial direction is uniaxially oriented by 50-300% to reduce the thickness of the tube to 90-30% of the thickness before orientation to form the thin film fluoroplastic tube. The thin film tube is expanded in its diameter to cover a roller base material having an outer diameter larger than the inner diameter of the tube to obtain the fluoroplastic-coated roller.
