PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic apparatus having a large range of pressure allowed to be supplied to a load device. SOLUTION: This hydraulic apparatus comprises a drive source 10 having an inertia therein or an inertia added from the outside, a hydraulic pump motor 11 driven by the drive source 10 to generate hydraulic power, an oil passage 101 having one end connected to the outflow port of the hydraulic pump motor 11, an unload oil passage 102 branched from the oil passage 101, an open/close valve 1 installed in the unload oil passage 102, a valve 21 for preventing the reverse flow of hydraulic oil to the unload oil passage 102, an oil passage 103 connected between the valve 21 and a load, an open/close valve 2 installed in the oil passage 103, and an accumulator 32 connected to the oil passage 103 through an accumulator 31 and the open/close valve 3. By this configuration, the pressure range of the hydraulic oil allowed to be supplied to the load can be increased by openably controlling the open/close valves 1, 2, and 3.
