PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable clamping force while preventing the upper pressing ring part and the lower pressing ring part from curving up greatly from the paper surfaces when paper sheets such as documents or form papers having a large number of sheets are pinched by a clip for office work made of an elastic wire. SOLUTION: Loop-like upper pressing ring part 1 and lower pressing ring part 2 are formed by curving the elastic wire, and a part which connects both ring parts 1 and 2 is formed by a hoop connecting part 3 having a hoop shape. Then, the hoop connecting part 3 is provided by placing the hoop connecting part 3 under a state going along a surface which crosses the upper pressing ring part surface 4 and the lower pressing ring part surface 5 of both ring parts 1 and 2 at least at a right angle. Also, the hoop connecting part 3 can be provided for one formed in a shape wherein the upper pressing ring part 1 and the lower pressing ring part 2 are formed into an approximately right-angled triangle which can be fitted on the corners of the paper, a V clip and an ideal clip or the like as well.
