PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper dust removing brush capable of efficiently removing either of fibrous paper dust and powdery paper dust. SOLUTION: As for the paper dust removing brush, a first brush 50 and a second brush 60 are alternatively and obliquely wound around a shaft 70 in the axial direction. As for the first brush 50, foam 52 is stuck on a ground fabric 51, and bristles 53 are planted on the foam 52. As for the second brush 60, foam 62 is stuck on a ground fabric 61, and bristles 63 are planted on the foam 62. The bristles 53 are short and thick, the bristles 63 are long and slender. As for the paper dust sticking on the surface of a photoreceptor drum, the powdery paper dust is efficiently removed by the first brush 50, and the fibrous paper dust is efficiently removed by the second brush 60.
