PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground excavation method capable of efficiently and accurately constructing an excavated trench by preventing the twist of the whole integrated three rotational means and easily pulling out each rotational means from the inside of the excavated trench in an excavation agitator to be used. SOLUTION: The ground excavation method is so constituted that three rotational means 20C, 20R and 20L are integrated in a state to arrange them and that the excavation agitator equipped with a rotary shaft 21 capable of being rotated by outer motors (hydraulic motors) 40 enabling an output section to rotate around rigid axes 30C. 30R and 30L, and in the three rotational means 20C, 20R and 20L, the outer motors 40 and 40 of the two rotational means 20R and 20L arranged on both ends are rotated in the different directions each other.
