PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an acrylic polymer powder capable of giving an acrylic sol which has a low viscosity, excellent flowability, excellent storage stability and excellent particle fracture resistance, and gives molded articles each having excellent bleedout resistance and coating film uniformity and not producing hydrogen chloride gas on combustion differently from molded articles obtained from vinyl chloride sols, to obtain the acrylic sol, and to provide the molded article. SOLUTION: The acrylic polymer powder is obtained by spraying and drying a latex containing acrylic polymer particles and a water-soluble polymer having a weight-average mol. wt. of≥10,000. The acrylic sol contains the acrylic polymer powder. The molded article is obtained from the acrylic sol. The acrylic polymer particles are preferably specific multistage polymer particles obtained by forming the last stage polymer in a latex containing the previous stage polymer.
