PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a slippage of a stop position of rotation of a rotary pot. SOLUTION: In the rotary pot of which the lid 4 and the arm 5 for opening and closing the lid can be fitted to and removed from each other and whose pot body 1 is rotated in a state that the lid 4 is detached from the arm 5, a rotating shaft 2 of the pot provided on the lateral side of the pot body 1 is provided with a gear 6 for detecting a rotation angle, and a gear 8 for a rotary encoder is connected with the gear 6.
