The frame is particularly for a child carriage and has a lower frame part for wheel location together with an upper frame part for accommodation of a seat installation or similar. The frame parts have rails running in a vertical plane in the usage position. On the rails (14-17) a side carriage frame (2) can be fitted, which in the usage position has a horizontal frame part (22), with which a vertical frame part (25) is connected. At the lower end of the side carriage frame at least one wheel (27,28) is connected. The side carriage frame is capable of accommodating a further seating installation or similar. On at least one rail pair (14,15) of the carriage, at the same height, fixture devices (20,21) are provided for fixture of the horizontal frame part of the side carriage frame in the usage position. Between a cross rib joining the rail pair and the side carriage frame a stabilization device is provided.
