<p>A metal band having metallic appearance and being excellent in forming stability, characterized in that it has a coating film containing a 20 mass % or more on a dried coating basis of a filler of aluminum or an aluminum alloy on the side corresponding to an outer surface of a can, and, in the face of the side far from the coated metal surface of the coating film, a portion being rich in a resin component and having a content of the above filler of 5 mass % or less and a thickness of 0.1 to 20 mum; a seamlessly formed can body produced by the use of the metal band; and methods for producing them.</p>
