<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a recombinant efficiency and exclude a risk that a transpozon having an activity spreads into a natural world by using a piggyBac transposase protein for introducing a gene into insect cells. <P>SOLUTION: This method for introducing a foreign DNA into insect cells comprises a process of introducing the following 2 into the cells. (a) A DNA imparted with the foreign DNA between a reverse phase repeating sequences of a piggyBac transpozon and (b) The piggyBac transposase protein having an activity towards the reverse repeating sequence and produced by E. coli.
