<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal oscillator and an electronic apparatus using the same which has a vibration blocking function not obstructing the miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a crystal vibrator 2 having a flat plate-like oscillator package 3 and a flat plate-like circuit board 6 having at least an oscillator circuit. The package 3 is supported with a support member 8 approximately in parallel to the circuit board 6 on the circuit board 6. The support member 8 is disposed near one side of the bottom surface of the package 3 like a straight line along the one side thereof. This makes shocks exerted on the crystal oscillator hardly applicable to a crystal blank of the crystal vibrator, resulting in a reduced instantaneous change of its oscillation frequency due to the shocks, and also suppresses increase in the size and the cost rise. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
